Leadership – Competition – Grit
The SDC Shadow Dancers are our competitive dance group. Students ages 5 & up audition in June and are required to take assigned classes during the summer and fall season. These dancers train hard to gain flexibility, strength, and dance skills in order to take those learned behaviors and compete during the season.

Shadow Dancers is a time and financial commitment and takes responsibility, determination, and motivation. Students train all year while also attending several dance conventions and competitions throughout the season. They also receive performance opportunities and various other roles throughout the studio. Although the commitment is high, the life long skills and lessons they learn through this experience set them up for great success in the future!
